NCAS Best Academic – Industry Alliance :- Nazareth exemplifies multidisciplinary educational excellence, social responsibility, value and ethics, nurture and care. 

The mission of the trust is, to provide educational opportunities that emphasize skills and knowledge that will allow the students to adapt to a lifetime of social and technological change by providing the best Academic -Industry Alliance. 

The College Institution Interaction Cell:

This promotes closer interaction between the academic and Industrial fields. The purpose of the cell is to find out the gap between need of the industry and end product of the institution. The cell is the bridge between the industry, the real world and the institute. The students are exposed to the market and its demand. The cell helps the students to find a smooth transition from college to corporate life.

Anti Ragging Cell (ARC)

Ragging has ruined countless innocent lives. The Anti Ragging cell has the responsibility of preventing students from being ragged. At first, the cell warns students who are involved in ragging. finally the cell takes the disciplinary of action against the offenders. The defaulters are expelled from the college.

Grievance Cell (GC)

The Grievance redressal cell attempts to address genuine problems and complaints of students. The students are encouraged to use the suggestion box placed in the campus.

Nirbhaya Women’s Cell (NWC)

NIRBHAYA WOMEN CELL is an initiative of Nazareth College of arts and science for the betterment of girl students and women staff members. The cell was named as ‘Nirbhaya’ a Hindi word which means fearless. It is a platform for empowering girl students. The main objective of the cell is to create awareness of their rights and duties, to foster decision making ability in girl students for making informed choices in areas like education, employment & health., and to provide a platform for listening to complaints and redressal of grievances, to provide various health & safety awareness programme for women staff members.

Education is one of the most important aspects of our live, as it can determine out life path moving forward. However, there are circumstances that can sometimes put obstacles up in front of those seeking education, meaning their learning process can become fractured along the way.

Students Reformation Cell (SRC)

Nazareth College of Arts and Science have initiated The Student Reformation Cell in the academic year2017-2018.Themainobjectiveof the cell is to reform the students and make them aware of the importance of education, discipline and values of life. The cell encourages the suspended students to effectively take part in the activities that is given by the Non Governmental Organizations.

Students Mentoring Cell (SMC)

The Students Mentoring Cell is a supportive initiative aimed at guiding students in their academic, personal and career development. Experienced Staff served as mentors, providing advice on study techniques, time management, and emotional well-being. The cell fosters a collaborative learning environment, helping peers navigate challenges with confidence. Regular mentoring sessions create a sense of community and belonging. The cell encourages holistic growth, ensuring students thrive both academically and socially. The mentoring is conducted for each semester for the students from all classes.

 

 

Arrear Clearance Cell (ACC)

The main objective of this cell is to make the students clear their arrear subjects and get their degree with good percentage. With this, the arrear students can also attend the campus interview in final year and build their career in a successful manner. The cell organizes classes for slow learners and Question papers will be issued to the arrear students.

college Industry Interaction Cell (CIIC)

To develop a good communication between the college and the different types of companies. To build the students as per the practical expectations of the companies. The cell conducts seminars for all the students of the various departments.

Library Advisory Committee (LAC)

Cultural Committee of Nazareth College of Arts and Science contributes in developing the artistic talents of the students by giving opportunities to exhibit their talents in the form of intra and inter college cultural festivals. It also helps to screen the talents of the students and allow them to participate in competitions. The committee brings to light the hidden talents among the students. The committee is responsible for conducting various cultural programmes in the college during Christmas, Pongal, cultural day and showcase talent in the fields of: Dance, Drama, Music, Literary Arts, and Fine Arts etc

Eco Club (EC)

Eco Club was inaugurated in the year 2012.It is an effective club with increasing strength of student every year. The club has created an awareness of the benefits of planting trees among the locals and distributed saplings to the members of the public for the fruition of that sole objective. The main objective of the club is to create awareness towards conservation of environment among the students. It also focuses on creating clean and green consciousness among the students.

Student's Counseling Cell

The student’s counselling cell goal is assisting students in realizing their full academic and personal potential, the college’s Student Counselling Cell offers assistance and direction to help students overcome any obstacles they may encounter while pursuing their education. Students can receive free individual and group counselling from the Counselling Cell whenever needed. The counsellor’s assistance is accessible to pupils in need of consolation, psychological advice, and confidence.

Photography Club (PC)

This club is for photography to enthusiastic students that promotes their interest in photography. This club will help students to capture beautiful moments and express their feelings in the form of photography. This club will also train the students to develop their photographic skills and become young short film makers and directors.

QUIZ Club (QC)

The Quiz club is a part of Department of English Association “Belles Lettres”, it aims at motivating students to acquire general knowledge in all disciplines, it also enables students to exercise and improve their memory power and know new things. The NPTEL was initiated by Indian Institutes of Technology along with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2003. NPTEL contents can be used as core curriculum content for training purposes. A large number of students who are unable to attend scholarly institutions through NPTEL will have access to quality content from them.

Nazareth Centre For Skill Development Cell (NCSD)

(NCSD) Cell has been entrusted with the responsibility to train students by providing them skills with objective for enhancing their Employment /Self- Employment opportunities. The regular advancement in technology and at every field of education demands perfection from students also to get acquainted with everything. Remedial Cell

REPORT ON REMEDIAL CLASS 2018-2023

The remedial classes for the 2018-2023 were conducted based on the time table and remedial plan as soon as the college reopens the students are given entry level test and below average students who scored less than 30 marks out of 75 marks in the entry level test are selected as slow learner and conducted special coaching classes on the particular subjects. Course material was given to the students and taught important questions from previous year question paper to the students.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The NSS was formed in 1969 with an aim to “inculcate the social welfare thoughts in the students, and to provide service to the society without any prejudice. National Cadet Corps (NCC)

Red Ribbon Club (RRC)

Red Ribbon is the international symbol of HIV and AIDS awareness. The main objectives are to increase awareness among youth on sexual reproductive health and HIV/AIDS, to impart skills among youth on self-protection, negotiation, and effective group interaction. And it also encourages voluntarily blood donation. World Aids Day held on the 1st December each year.

NERF is a non-profit organization helping people in poverty who need relief and rehabilitation during natural crisis in India. It was born out of a serious felt need during the devastating Chennai Floods.NERF (INDIA) is a voluntary organization, a registered trust with an exempt under section 12 A (a) of the IT Act 1961 (waiting for approval). The objective of the NERF is to provide relief, to restore and to provide continuous rehab programs for the people of India. At NERF, we take up different projects minor to major in providing better health, education, sustainable lives for children, women and families. NERF also aim to join hands with different corporates / state & central government / NGOs to work on different social causes to bring change in lives of people of India.
