Ragging has ruined countless innocent lives. The Anti Ragging cell has the responsibility of preventing students from being ragged. At first, the cell warns students who are involved in ragging. finally the cell takes the disciplinary of action against the offenders. The defaulters are expelled from the college.

The cell was named as ‘Nirbhaya’ a Hindi word which means fearless. It is a platform for empowering girl students. Nazareth College of Arts and Science have initiated The Student Reformation Cell in the academic year2017-2018.Themainobjectiveof the cell is to reform the students and make them aware of the importance of education, discipline and values of life. The cell encourages the suspended students to effectively take part in the activities that is given by the Non Governmental Organizations.
The Students Mentoring Cell is a supportive initiative aimed at guiding students in their academic, personal and career development. Experienced Staff served as mentors, providing advice on study techniques, time management, and emotional well-being. The cell fosters a collaborative learning environment, helping peers navigate challenges with confidence. Regular mentoring sessions create a sense of community and belonging. The cell encourages holistic growth, ensuring students thrive both academically and socially. The mentoring is conducted for each semester for the students from all classes.
The main objective of this cell is to make the students clear their arrear subjects and get their degree with good percentage. With this, the arrear students can also attend the campus interview in final year and build their career in a successful manner. The cell organizes classes for slow learners and Question papers will be issued to the arrear students.
To develop a good communication between the college and the different types of companies. To build the students as per the practical expectations of the companies. The cell conducts seminars for all the students of the various departments.

Cultural Committee of Nazareth College of Arts and Science contributes in developing the artistic talents of the students by giving opportunities to exhibit their talents in the form of intra and inter college cultural festivals. It also helps to screen the talents of the students and allow them to participate in competitions. The committee brings to light the hidden talents among the students. The committee is responsible for conducting various cultural programmes in the college during Christmas, Pongal, cultural day and showcase talent in the fields of: Dance, Drama, Music, Literary Arts, and Fine Arts etc
Eco Club was inaugurated in the year 2012.It is an effective club with increasing strength of student every year. The club has created an awareness of the benefits of planting trees among the locals and distributed saplings to the members of the public for the fruition of that sole objective. REPORT ON REMEDIAL CLASS 2018-2023
The remedial classes for the 2018-2023 were conducted based on the time table and remedial plan as soon as the college reopens the students are given entry level test and below average students who scored less than 30 marks out of 75 marks in the entry level test are selected as slow learner and conducted special coaching classes on the particular subjects. The NCC was formed in 1969 with an aim to “inculcate the social welfare thoughts in the students, and to provide service to the society without any prejudice. There are various camps that the NSS conducts and each of them broadly fall into one of these four categories: 1.Cleaning 2.Afforestation 3. Stage shows or Procession creating awareness on social problems, education, cleanliness etc 4. Inviting doctors for health camps. Most of these camps are conducted in rural places or sub-urban areas.

Red Ribbon is the international symbol of HIV and AIDS awareness. The main objectives are to increase awareness among youth on sexual reproductive health and HIV/AIDS, to impart skills among youth on self-protection, negotiation, and effective group interaction. And it also encourages voluntarily blood donation. World Aids Day held on the 1st December each year.

NERF is a non-profit organization helping people in poverty who need relief and rehabilitation during natural crisis in India. It was born out of a serious felt need during the devastating Chennai Floods.NERF (INDIA) is a voluntary organization, a registered trust with an exempt under section 12 A (a) of the IT Act 1961 (waiting for approval). The objective of the NERF is to provide relief, to restore and to provide continuous rehab programs for the people of India. At NERF, we take up different projects minor to major in providing better health, education, sustainable lives for children, women and families. NERF also aim to join hands with different corporates / state & central government / NGOs to work on different social causes to bring change in lives of people of India.
The UG and PG programs follow Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) of University of Madras.

The College Institution Interaction Cell promotes closer interaction between the academic and Industrial fields. The purpose of the cell is to find out the gap between need of the industry and end product of the institution. The cell is the bridge between the industry, the real world and the institute. The students are exposed to the market and its demand. The cell helps the students to find a smooth transition from college to corporate life. The cell also serves as a platform for students in finding internship opportunities as part of their curriculum and during vacation. It serves as a base for where workshops, conferences and symposia with joint participation of the industries. Industry experts also connect with students through webinars, video conference, online training programmes and lectures. This also serves as place to establish rapport with industries for taking up mini projects and projects, strengthen Alumni relations, assist the Training and Placement Division and organize industrial visits.
