Nazareth Consultancy Policy

Nazareth Consultancy Policy

The college encourages faculty to take up consultancy projects in their areas of expertise. The consultancy policy document provides the framework to guide the process of consultancy and administrative requirements for the successful conduct and documentation

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The faculty will carry out these activities with prior permission and vetting from the research development cell.
  2. The consultancy services may be offered to industries, service sectors, government departments, NGOs and other regional, state, national and international agencies of expertise available in the college.
  3. The consultancy and related services should not interfere with the normal teaching and research in the college.
  4. The faculty or group of faculty who carry out consultancy work shall report the progress of the consultancy work to the Research Development Cell.
  5. Publication arising from consultancy work shall include the affiliation of the college.
  6. The payment associated with the consultancy to be divided among the Principal investigator (PI) and the and the college based on the category of the consultancy work carried out of the work.
  • Individual consultancy:

90% to the Principal Investigator (90%) and (10%) to the college.

  • Institutional and Department consultancy:

80% to the Principal Investigator and the team and 20% to the college

Nazareth College encourages faculty to take up consultancy services that facilitate knowledge transfer and contribute to economic and social impact. The Research Development cell will periodically review the policy from time to time.
