The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 envisages the promotion of quality research within the Higher Education system. Research and innovation are important aspects to enhance quality education by the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Nazareth College as a higher education ecosystem emphasis on research, innovation, and technology development.  All the faculty and students are encouraged to undertake research in the Institution.

  3. Encourage Collaboration Across Multiple Sectors
  4. Facilitating Greater Access to Research Through Resource Mobilization
  5. Publishing Faculty and student Research
  6. Encouraging Faculty to Apply and Engage in Live Projects with the Community

Objectives

  1. To create an organizational structure with role-based functions of Research Development Cell
  2. Formulate Research Policy and identify thrust areas of research.
  3. To form related cluster groups/Core research teams
  4. To encourage collaboration across industry, government, community- based organizations, and agencies at the local, national, and international levels.
  5. To encourage faculty, apply and engage in live projects based on SDG Goals
  6. To Publish a Multi-Disciplinary Journal NIJMAR
  7. To Disseminate research outcomes to stakeholders and the public at large.
  8. To facilitate greater access to research through mobilization of resources and funding.
  9. To act as a liaison between researchers & relevant research funding agencies,
  10. To provide guidance in preparation & submission of project proposals and post-sanctioning of the grants to oversee adherence to timelines.
  11. To coordinate with University-Industry Inter Linkage, Incubation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
