The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a universal framework for addressing pressing global challenges—poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, and peace and justice. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) play a critical role in localizing SDGs through research, innovation, policy engagement, and community outreach. Nazareth College of Arts & Science, committed to education with social responsibility, proposes to organize a two-day SDG Summit 2026 to create a platform for academics, researchers, policymakers, and students to explore the relevance of SDGs in higher education, and to identify actionable strategies for People, Planet, and Prosperity.
The SDG Summit 2026, jointly organized by Nazareth College of Arts & Science and the International Network for Christian Higher Education, and powered by www.mapsdg.com, will take place on February 20–21, 2026. The two-day international conference is themed “Sustainable Development Goals for People, Planet, and Prosperity” and seeks to bring together educators, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders to explore how higher education institutions can advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through research, innovation, and community engagement.
This conference will follow a hybrid format, enabling international delegates to participate online, while Indian participants will attend in person.
