As part of our ongoing efforts to foster an innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem within our institution, the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Nazareth College of Arts and Science organized the telecast of three significant webcasts conducted by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, Govt. of India. These sessions were aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of both students and faculty members, encouraging active participation in innovation-driven activities.

This session provided insights into the framework for creating and engaging trained faculty and student IIC members as Innovation Ambassadors. The webcast highlighted the importance of Innovation Ambassadors (IA) in nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship within institutions.
This session focused on building a pipeline of quality innovations and startups in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The webcast emphasized the role of ecosystem enablers and the importance of the YUKTI Innovation and IPR Repository (YIIR) in managing and promoting innovative projects. It provided valuable guidance on how institutions can create and maintain this repository effectively.
This orientation session was designed to refresh the understanding of the objectives, structure, and operations of Institution’s Innovation Councils (IIC). The session aimed to ensure that all IIC institutions are aligned with the goals of the MoE Innovation Cell and are effectively contributing to the national innovation ecosystem.
